Congratulations to Bruce Busbey on his 3 bullets this past Sunday.
I was on the road racing at KSC, so here is the writeup from Fleet Captain Eric Seymour.
We got in 3 races, winds out of the SSW blowing about a steady 6. The last race was shortened at the leeward mark due to thunder heads moving in. De Klomp crossed the line first in all 3 races. The course was all over the place with 15 deg shifts left then right. It was hard to decide which way to go. The Kiemele’s hit the Pin on the start of the 3rd race and Ronnie with Patrick layed the boat on the leeward mark for about a minute and a half on the first rouding in the third race. It was quite exciting to watch from the back of the pack. My crew was unable to show so I single handed, that was a lot of work. Maybe I need to rename the boat Three Ring Circus.
