My work has me travelling so much that I cannot get time to use and/or care for my MacGregor. I bought this boat in pristine condition during covid and joined the club. I have put it in the water one time since then as I have been out of town etc.
The 2003 MacGregor 26 is a unique boat that serves many purposes. It sails well for our lake, it can also drop part of its ballast and move along at near 24 MPH. It can pull a skier, get back to dock in a lightning storm quicker than most.
I have put it in at Keowee because I have friends at the club there as well. I have spent some awesome nights on the boat tide to a couple other boats or the dock. Have cooked on it / slept on it. Great for a couple.
The boat has a 60HP Yamaha, a new mast and comes with all sails and the trailer so you can go from lake to lake to sound if you want or keep it at Hartwell, your choice. Easy to tow with almost any vehicle.
Its awesome! I just don't have time to use it.
These boats are selling for $23k-$30k right now. I bought this boat from a guy on Lake Lanier and have a trailer title and a sales agreement. I need to go to GA and get a lost title etc to gain full title. During covid I never did it and the sticker are current until 2023. So it needs to be done. If I clean it up and get the title then I will put it on the internet for competitive pricing, however, if you would like to see it and get the title from a sales agreement from me and let me move on then I am willing to discount the price to be done and to move on.
